Outstanding Image Quality

Flagship Imaging, Flagship Level Throughout
The largest 1/1.28" sensors and a lightning-fast triple AI chip system set a new benchmark in 360° capture. This powerful hardware combination delivers true-to-life colors, stunning clarity and brighter, more vivid visuals.

8K 360° Video
Capture your world with remarkably true-to-life image quality. The X5 uses supersampling from 11K to 8K, making it much more detailed and clearer, delivering truly immersive clips.

360° PureVideo
Shooting at night or in low light? Improved AI noise reduction and dynamic range optimization deliver clear, vivid footage whatever the situation.

Fully Replaceable, Durable Lenses
Had a crash? The X5's new replaceable lens design lets you remove damaged lenses and fit new ones. No stress, no downtime.
Say goodbye to scratches, cracks and pain. The X5 uses an ultra-hard optical film and boasts 100% improved drop resistance compared to the X4, effectively resisting scratches from keys, coins and other metals.

5.7K 60 fps Active HDR
Now upgraded to 60fps, this innovative mode captures stunning detail and color in highlights and shadows and delivers excellent stabilization even in intense moments.

360° Shooting

Invisible Selfie Stick
Now you see it, now you don't. Shoot impossible "how did you get that" third-person angles, "it must be a drone" shots, and iconic 360° views, with no selfie stick in sight.

One Camera, Any Perspective
A multi-view setup in a single device. The X5 combines every possible angle in one shot – no extra equipment, no retakes, no missed moments.

Reframing
When 360° video captures everything around you, press record, focus on life and choose the best angles later with AI-powered reframing tools in the Insta360 app.

InstaFrame Mode
Smart flat video. Tired of editing or short on time? Get perfectly framed video with no editing! Before shooting, choose selfie view or fixed view and get an instantly shareable flat video. Ideal for activities like cycling and skiing.
Shoot 360° at the same time. And here's more! You will also capture a full 360° video at the same time, ready for further editing or for capturing unexpected moments.

4K 60 fps Single-Lens Mode
Use the X5 as a traditional action camera and shoot crisp 4K60fps first-person video. Go even further with MaxView FreeFrame Video, with a 170° field of view at 4K30fps.

72 MP 360° Photos
More detail, more "oooh". Enjoy unforgettable moments with breathtaking 72-megapixel 360° photos.

Ready for an Active Lifestyle

Simply Clearer Audio
Wind? What wind? Whether riding trails or waves, your audio stays crystal clear. The new multi-layer wind guard with a steel mesh quietly muffles gusts as if they were never there.

Wind Noise Reduction
The X5's upgraded audio algorithm cuts through wind and ambient noise for superior, immersive sound even when riding a bicycle or motorcycle. One of four unique audio modes for clear audio every time!

Voice Enhancement
A new intelligent mode that clarifies voices without the need for extra microphones, ideal for vlogs. Make sure your audio is as epic as your shots!

Longer Battery Life
Life doesn't wait, and neither should you. The X5's fast charging gets you back in the game in just 20 minutes. Less waiting, more creating.

• 185 min battery life
• 37% longer than the X4

FlowState Stabilization
Whether skiing downhill or driving off-road, FlowState removes shakes and bumps so your footage is silky smooth. Go all out – the X5 handles the rest.

360° Horizon Lock
From a tight motorcycle turn to paraglider flips, experience every angle while the X5 keeps your video anchored to the horizon.

Waterproof to 15 m
The X5 is waterproof to 15 m, a 50% improvement over the X4, and with the Invisible Dive Case* you can capture crystal-clear 360° underwater shots down to 60 m.
*The Invisible Dive Case is recommended for shooting 360° video underwater, as it eliminates light refraction, distortion and stitching problems. For flat videos, you can shoot in single-lens mode without the Dive Case, as these shots do not need to be stitched.

Magnetic Mount
Change your setup in an instant with the all-new magnetic mounting system. Great for activities like cycling, when you want shots from several positions. Even the batteries can be swapped easily, ensuring you are always ready to go.

Versatile

Seamless Control
Twist to shoot. Get a new perspective on filming. Simply twist the selfie stick forward and back twice to start/stop recording or take a photo. No need to take off your gloves on the slopes!
Gesture control. The most useful way to shoot – literally! Shoot video and take photos using just your palm and a peace sign.
Voice Control 2.0. Say hello to true hands-free shooting with our improved voice control algorithm.

Built to work in extreme conditions – easily withstands temperatures down to -20ºC. Ride, record and relive every moment whatever the weather.

Pre-Recording
Be ready before the moment happens! Capture up to 90 seconds of footage before you press the shutter button with the pre-recording feature.
