Background Light Stands

Background light stands are low studio stands used to place a light behind the subject to illuminate the backdrop. This category includes a Fotocom background light stand (600 mm), a Quadralite background light stand on wheels and the Manfrotto Backlite base.

These stands let you light the backdrop evenly or create a glow behind the model without the light entering the frame. When choosing, consider the height and the type of base: a low stand on wheels is easy to move around the studio, while a compact base lets you set the light directly on the floor.
