Foam core board holders are clamps that let you mount foam boards, reflectors or other flat panels on a light stand. This category includes holders from Manfrotto, Fotocom and Falcon Eyes, including extended models.

With a foam core holder, a white or black board becomes a reflector or flag for portrait and product photography. When choosing, look at the mount: some holders include a 1/4 to 3/8 inch thread adapter, so they fit most studio stands and clamps. An extended holder is useful for thicker or larger panels.
