Matte Box

The Matte Box category covers matte boxes for video and cinema shooting together with their accessories: filter trays, adapter ring sets, threaded plates and kits with VND and CPL filters. You will find products from SmallRig, NiSi, Genesis and PolarPro, from lightweight mini versions to complete cinema kits.

A matte box shields the lens from stray side light, reduces flare and makes swapping filters on set quick. When choosing one, check the front diameter of your lens (for example 95 mm or 114 mm), the mounting method – clamp-on with adapter rings or support on 15 mm rods – and the filter size, such as 4x4 inch.
