Macro Mounts

Macro mounts help you position the camera and lighting precisely for close-up photography. This category includes macro focusing rails, micro-positioning plates, adjustable macro heads and macro brackets from Manfrotto, Fotocom and BIG.

In macro photography the depth of field is extremely shallow, so it is often easier to fine-tune focus by moving the whole camera along a rail rather than turning the lens focus ring. A 4-way macro head allows fine forward, backward and sideways movement, while a bracket such as the Manfrotto 330B holds the camera together with two flashes.
