Cones (snoots) are light modifiers that narrow a flash or LED beam into a precise circle. This category includes snoot reflectors with honeycomb grids and color filters, as well as optical snoots for sharp projection, from Elinchrom, Godox, Fomei, Newell and Quadralite.

Snoots are used for hair and accent light, background lighting and highlighting details in product photography. A 6° or 12° grid narrows the beam further. When choosing, consider the mount, such as the Bowens system or a universal adapter, and whether the snoot is designed for a specific flash like the Godox AD400 Pro.
