C-stand studio stands are sturdy metal stands for lights, flags, diffusers and other studio gear. This category includes C-stands and kits from Avenger, Fomei, Quadralite and Visico, along with grip heads from Godox, Avenger and Fotocom.

A grip head lets you attach arms and pipes to a C-stand (the Fotocom head takes 8, 16, 19 and 25 mm tubes) to place a light or flag exactly where you need it. When choosing, check the maximum extended height (for example 290, 295 or 320 cm), the number of sections, and whether the stand is detachable or sold as a column only.
