Studio Stands

Studio Stands are the foundation of any photo or video studio, holding flashes, continuous lights, softboxes and backgrounds at the height you need. The category includes light stands, multi-stand kits, background stands and boom stands from Manfrotto, Quadralite, Fotocom, Falcon Eyes and Aputure.

When choosing a studio stand, compare maximum height (from about 160 cm up to 480 cm), load capacity and material. An air cushion lets sections lower slowly and protects the light from impact, reverse-folding legs shorten the packed length, and levelling legs help on uneven floors. Also check the mounting thread, such as 1/4" or 3/8", and whether a kit with several stands and a carrying bag suits your setup better.
