Spirit levels help you set a camera, flash or tripod head perfectly level. This category includes 2D and 3D hot shoe levels, level cubes and clamp-mounted bubble levels from Fotocom, Manfrotto, Sunwayfoto, Kaiser and Genesis Gear.
A spirit level is useful for landscape, architecture and panorama photography, where the horizon or vertical lines must not be tilted. A hot shoe level slides into the camera's flash shoe, while the Sunwayfoto models are designed for 42, 50 and 60 mm clamps. A 3D level shows several axes at once, making it handy for both landscape and portrait framing.
