Mitoya FIBERGLASS 16K 152cm White Scattering Umbrella

..:: 50 MONTHS WARRANTY ::..

High quality MITOYA Fiberglass dispersion umbrella with a diameter of 152 cm. An essential piece of equipment for a photography and film studio, used to soften the harsh light stream emitted by flashes or LED steady light lamps. It is perfect for portrait, children's and product photography. The depth of its canopy is 38 cm.

The umbrella frame consists of 16 durable fiberglass wires, which directly translates into its increased durability – it is much more resistant to intensive use than classic umbrellas with metal ribbing. The advanced design of the frame makes the entire surface strongly stretched on both sides, smooth and uniform. Increasing the number of wires brings the entire surface closer to the shape of a circle, which in turn makes the reflections (e.g. in the eyes of the photographed person) look more natural.

The umbrella is packed in a case that effectively prevents the light material from getting dirty during transport and storage.

Application

Diffusion umbrellas, otherwise known as diffusion umbrellas, are used to soften the harsh luminous flux emitted by the lamp burner. They make it softer and more aesthetically pleasing, thus eliminating shadows created on a photo or film set. The neutral white diffusion material does not affect the color temperature of the light or the color rendering index. It's ideal for portrait, family, and children's photography, as well as any other photography where the goal is to achieve light that produces lower contrast effects.
