Studio reflective umbrella MITOYA Fiberglass with a white inner surface and a diameter of 152 cm. One of the most basic elements of photography studio equipment. It allows the light flux to be reflected and strongly diffused over a very large area. The white material makes the light not only effectively diffused, but also attractively soft, which is especially desirable in portrait photography. The reflective surface is also colour-neutral - it does not affect the colour temperature of the lamp light or the white balance. The depth of the canopy is 38 cm.

The umbrella frame consists of 16 durable wires made of fiberglass , which translates into its increased durability - fiberglass is much more resistant to mechanical damage than classic metal ribbing in umbrellas of the amateur segment. The advanced design of the frame makes the entire surface strongly stretched on both sides, smooth and uniform. Increasing the number of wires brings the entire surface closer to the shape of a circle, which in turn makes the reflections (e.g. in the eyes of the photographed person) look more natural.

The umbrella is packed in a durable case that effectively prevents the light-colored material from getting dirty during transport and storage.

Application

Reflective umbrellas allow you to amplify and direct the luminous flux from flashes and continuous flashes. When working with an accessory of this type, the lamp should be placed in the opposite way than usual – with its back to the model. The white surface inside the canopy reflects the luminous flux without affecting the color of the light. Due to their small dimensions when folded, they are part of the basic equipment of studio and outdoor plans.
