The 5-in-1 round MITOYA aperture with a diameter of 60 cm has five light-modifying surfaces: diffuse, white, silver, gold and black. Due to its small size, it is not only very handy, but also convenient to transport – when folded, it fits in a cover with a diameter of only 25 cm (cover included).

The hood has two profiled handles, which are additionally equipped with a 3/8" thread. Thanks to this design, it can be attached to any tripod equipped with a suitable connector. It is made of high-quality materials that are resistant to breakage and cracking. Thanks to this, even when folded and unfolded many times, it will maintain the correct level of surface tension.

Light modifiers:

• Frame – diffuser: placed between the lamp and the photographed object, it will allow you to obtain soft, natural lighting.
• White surface: will provide soft and subtle filling lighting without affecting its color.
• Silver surface: will allow you to obtain more strongly reflected light and therefore more contrast; It also has no effect on its color.
• Gold surface: the reflected light is contrasting and strong, and additionally insulated.
• Black surface: light-absorbing screen – makes it easy to cut off unwanted reflections and limit the light reaching the object from another side.

Application

Apertures are one of the most commonly used light modifiers. They perform well both during outdoor sessions and during studio photography. The 5-in-1 model is characterized by great versatility of use. With the help of a diffuser, we can scatter too strong lights, surfaces – white, silver and gold – will allow us to reflect it and direct it to the right point, while black will effectively cut off unwanted rays. Additional handles will not only allow us to comfortably hold the reflector, but also mount it on a tripod if we are not accompanied by an assistant on the set.
