Mitoya 185cm White Diffuser for Reflecting Umbrella

..:: 50 MONTHS WARRANTY ::..

Practical and functional diffuser designed for the Fiberglass MITOYA reflective umbrella with a diameter of 185 cm and photographic umbrellas from other manufacturers of similar size. It allows you to transform the umbrella into a light modifier similar in design to a closed softbox and obtain more diffused and softer light, especially eagerly used in portrait photography. Stretched over the outer edges of the umbrella, it is easy to assemble and allows you to prepare a shooting set in no time.

The diffuser has elastic rubber sewn along the entire length of the edge, which allows for stable installation on the umbrella. This solution also makes it easy to match it to umbrellas that are not much smaller or not much larger. In the case of a smaller umbrella, the diffuser will slide deeper onto its bowl. When working with larger umbrellas, you should expect stronger tension on the wires. We recommend that you do not exceed a tolerance of 10 cm and choose only umbrellas equipped with a fiberglass frame. Traditional umbrellas with metal ribs are less flexible and more prone to damage.

In the middle of the diffuser there is a hole that allows you to mount the lamp and safely route the power cables.

Application

A solid white, durable and solidly made diffuser is the easiest way to transform a regular reflective umbrella into a light modifier with a softbox-like design. It is also a perfect solution for photographers looking for modifiers with a very large surface area - umbrellas usually reach much larger sizes than traditional softboxes, and at the same time they are light and mobile.
