K&F Concept Nano-X Black Mist 1/8 77mm Diffusion Filter

The K&F Concept Nano-X Black Mist 1/8 is a high-quality diffusion filter made of 77 mm optical glass. The glass lens has been covered with anti-reflective and protective nano-coatings. It guarantees high light transmission, faithful color reproduction and the highest quality image, free of accidental light flashes.

The purpose of diffusion filters is to slightly soften the sharp, digital image and give it a more natural character. Diffusion filters are most commonly used by video creators – they allow you to use advanced film equipment while capturing images with a large dynamic range and smooth transitions between highlights and shadows. The Black Mist filter slightly reduces the contrast of the scene and creates a soft glow around the light sources. It also has a small effect on the exposure, allowing 87% of light to pass through, which in some cases must be corrected by changing the ISO value, aperture or shutter speed. The subtle softening of 1 /8 makes the final effect very delicate, so filters of this power can also be used in the photo studio, e.g. during portrait sessions.
