High-quality K&F Concept Nano-X Black Mist 1/1 diffusion filter with a diameter of 72 mm. Made of hardened optical glass, coated with anti-reflective and protective nano-coatings , which effectively protect the lens surface from scratches and reduce unwanted light reflections.

Diffusion filters help to give a more organic and analogue feel to your digital image. Modern cameras and video camcorders record images that may seem too sharp and therefore artificial for many viewers. Diffusion filters reduce the contrast of the scene and create a soft glow around light sources, which is associated with classic film. The dynamic range becomes larger and the transitions between dark and light parts of the image are smoother. The Black Mist 1/1 filter also affects exposure by letting 74% of light through, which should be corrected by shutter speed, aperture or ISO.

The distinguishing feature of the Nano-X series filters are numerous coatings, which have a positive effect on image quality. They provide protection against unwanted glare, water or greasy stains. There are no stains on the lenses, and fingerprints or other impurities are very easy to remove. The optical glass used in their production is resistant to scratches, cracks or chips. Nano-X also offers filters with thin rings. Their aluminium and electroplated frame is only 3.3 mm wide and allows you to work with wide-angle lenses without worrying about a vignette, while its fine grooves make it easy to wind and protect against jamming.

Use
