KiwiFotos 62/46mm Step-Down Adapter Ring

Filter reduction allows you to change the diameter of your lens to a different one. The first value given on the reduction is the diameter we have in the lens. The second value indicates the diameter of the filter, lens, converter that we want to screw to our equipment. Threads in reduction do not wear out or wear out with use and over time.

The reductions are made of the highest quality aluminum, lightweight and durable at the same time, resistant to deformation and mechanical damage. The two reinforced threads do not wear out or wear out with use and over time. They are made very precisely, fit perfectly and are 100% safe for the lens threads and the accessories you have.

The use of reduction increases the likelihood of glare between the filter/converter and the lens - each reduction moves them further apart, making them more susceptible to flare and glare. The aluminium from which all reductions are made is specially blackened to a deep, matte shade. It absorbs the light that falls at an angle, preventing it from being reflected on the surface of the lenses. Blackening takes place already at the stage of production of the adapter - this guarantees durability without the possibility of chipping, unlike the reduction of painted ones after production.

Use

Thread reducers allow you to save more money in the purchase of photographic accessories - just buy one for a larger diameter and, thanks to our reducers, apply to all lenses.

Application example

Having a 58mm lens and a 52mm filter, we use a "reducing" reduction of 58-52mm. We screw the reduction onto the lens and put our 52mm filter on it. And we can take pictures. It's very simple! It is worth paying attention to the marking, because the 58-52mm reducer will NOT work "the other way around" - it will not allow you to attach a larger 58mm filter to a 52mm lens.
