Description

Adjustable, gray fader filter by K&F Concept with a diameter of 49 mm. Made of high-quality optical glass , it will allow you to uniformly darken the entire area of the photo in a very large range from ND8x to ND128x (ND0.9 – ND2.1), which corresponds to the exposure scale from 3 to 7 aperture divisions. The Nano-X series of filters has been covered with special anti-reflective and protective nano-coatings. These filters are devoid of the characteristic "X" effect, often found in similar types of filters of the amateur segment. In addition to excellent image quality, K&F Concept's filters do not affect the color of the scene, ensuring a faithful reproduction of natural, saturated colors.

The use of gray filters significantly facilitates work in difficult conditions of strong sunlight. Their task is to limit the amount of light reaching the camera sensor. They are an invaluable help both when taking portraits and landscape photos - they allow you to open the camera aperture wider or significantly extend the exposure time. They are especially popular when working outdoors, because they allow you to achieve the effect of flowing water and blurring clouds moving across the sky. They are also helpful for taking portraits with a shallow depth of field, and during night shots, they will help to capture the colorful streaks of lights of passing cars. Fader filters are adjustable – they can successfully replace several filters with different, fixed ND values, making it easier to work on a photo or film set.

Numerous coatings used in the Nano-X series filters are designed to ensure the highest quality of recorded images. They protect against unwanted glare and prevent water or oil stains, and any stains or accidental fingerprints are very easy to remove. The filters are made of additionally hardened optical glass, which effectively protects them from scratches, chips or cracks. Importantly, they are also devoid of the characteristic "X" effect, often observed in similar accessories of the amateur segment, especially when working at extreme values. Thanks to high-quality materials, K&F Concept filters ensure uniform dimming across the entire frame.

Nano-X are universal filters that can also be used with wide-angle lenses. Their thin, aluminum frame is electroplated and has numerous grooves, making it easier to operate the filter and protect it from jamming on the lens. The filters are double-threaded and have five control points on their bezels, corresponding to ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64 and ND128 values, making dimming adjustment not only convenient but also precise.
