K&F Concept Nano-X ND8-ND128 43mm Adjustable ND Fader Filter

The K&F Concept 43 mm grey fader made of hardened optical glass enables uniform darkening of the entire image area over a very wide range from ND8x to ND128x (ND0.9 – ND2.1), which corresponds to an exposure scale of 3 to 7 f-stops. The Nano-X series are filters covered with special anti-reflective and protective nano-coatings. Most importantly, they are devoid of the characteristic "X" effect, often present in similar types of amateur filters, and they do not affect the color of the shot.

Using ND filters allows you to open the camera's aperture wider in bright sunlight or significantly increase the shutter speed. They are especially popular when working outdoors, because they allow you to achieve the effect of flowing water and blurring clouds moving across the sky. Their task is to limit the amount of light reaching the camera sensor. They are also helpful for taking portraits with a shallow depth of field, and during night shots, they will help to capture the colorful streaks of lights of passing cars. Nano-X are universal filters that can also be used with wide-angle lenses. Their thin, aluminum frame is electroplated and has numerous grooves, making it easier to operate the filter and protect it from jamming on the lens. The filters are double-threaded and have five control points on their bezels, corresponding to ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64 and ND128 values, making dimming adjustment not only convenient but also precise.
