K&F Concept Nano-X Black Mist 1/4 82mm Diffusion Filter

Black Mist 1/4 The K&F Concept Nano-X with a diameter of 82 mm is a high-quality diffusion filter, designed to obtain a more natural, analog image when using digital cameras or camcorders. Made of hardened optical glass covered with numerous anti-reflective nano-coatings . It provides an image free of glitches, reflections or unsightly tint.

Mist filters allow you to blur the image subtly and attractively, giving it a more organic, analogue look. Modern video cameras and cameras adapted to filming record images so sharp and full of details that for many viewers it can be even artificial. A diffusion filter slightly reduces the contrast of the scene and creates a soft glow around light sources. As a result of its use, the dynamic range becomes larger, and the transitions between dark and light parts of the image are smoother. The Black Mist filter also has a slight effect on exposure, allowing 84% of light to pass through, which in some situations needs to be corrected by exposure time, aperture value or ISO change. Softening the image at 1/4 level will compensate for this loss, allowing for a vivid, natural and more analogue image, which is especially beneficial when working with many artificial light sources - e.g. LED panel lamps, which are characterized by harsh light.

The Nano-X series filters are distinguished from others by numerous nano-coatings that increase their durability, effectively reduce reflections, and protect the lens from water or greasy stains. There are no stains on the surface of the filters, and fingerprints or other impurities are very easy to remove. Hardened optical glass is resistant to scratches, cracks or chips. Nano-X also offers filters with thin rings. Their aluminum and electroplated frame is only 3.3 mm wide, so you can work with wide-angle lenses without worrying about an unsightly vignette. Its profiling protects against jamming and facilitates assembly and disassembly.
