K&F Concept Nano-X Black Mist 1/1 52mm Diffusion Filter

K&F Concept Nano-X Black Mist 1/1 with a diameter of 52 mm is a diffusion filter made of high-quality optical glass, covered with anti-reflective and protective nano-coatings . The image recorded with it is free of unwanted glitter or unsightly tint, while the lens itself is resistant to accidental damage.

Using diffusion filters helps to give your shot a more organic feel. They are an excellent tool for the realization of oneiric, artistic images. Modern cameras and camcorders record images that may be too artificial, sharp and digital for many viewers. A diffusion filter reduces the contrast of the scene and creates a soft glow around light sources, reminiscent of classic film. The dynamic range becomes larger, and the transitions between dark and light parts of the image are smoother. The Black Mist 1/1 filter also affects the exposure of the scene by letting in 74% of the light, which should be corrected by shutter speed, aperture or higher ISO.

The distinguishing feature of the Nano-X series filters are numerous coatings that have a positive effect on image quality. They provide protection against unwanted glare, water or greasy stains. There are no stains on the lenses, and fingerprints or other impurities are very easy to remove. Hardened optical glass is resistant to scratches, cracks or chips. Nano-X also offers filters with thin rings. Their aluminium and electroplated frame is only 3.3 mm wide and allows you to work with wide-angle lenses without worrying about a vignette, while its fine grooves make it easy to wind and protect against jamming.
