Minolta MC / MD Bayonet Adapter [Lens] – Sony NEX E-mount [body] K&F Concept

A bayonet adapter by K&F Concept, allowing the use of manual Minolta lenses with an older generation MC / MD mount with Sony cameras with an E-mount mount (Sony NEX series, A7, A7S, A7R, A5000, A6000 and other cameras).

Using bayonet adapters allows you to mount lenses with a different mount than the one on your camera. K&F Concept adapters are characterized by precision workmanship and durable construction. Made of aluminum , they are durable, free of backlash and leaks, so they do not cause unwanted glitter or reflections. Careful workmanship also ensures full safety of the equipment – the adapters do not adversely affect the contacts or cause short circuits.

Minolta lenses with MC and MD mounts are fully manual – the camera must also be set to manual mode. Some cameras also support Aperture priority (A/Av) mode. The adapter allows you to focus to the full extent, even indefinitely.

Use

Bayonet adapters are a convenient solution in situations where we want to use a wider range of lenses than those offered by a given manufacturer. The Minolta series of MC or MD mount lenses are retro lenses, produced in the 1960s and 1970s and using an older type of bayonet, referred to as SR. They are characterized by characteristic optical systems, and using them gives effects similar to the iconic M42 lenses.
