K&F Concept Canon FD [Lens] - Sony E-mount [Body] Bayonet Adapter

A solidly made and precisely fitted K&F Concept bayonet adapter, allowing the use of Canon FD mount lenses (mount used until 1987) with Sony cameras with E-mount mounts (Sony NEX and Alpha series - A7, A7S, A7R, A5000, A6000 and other cameras).

Bayonet reductions are an easy way to combine cameras and lenses of different systems. K&F Concept adapters are distinguished by their quality and precision of workmanship. They are made of anodized aluminum, which is also associated with increased strength and resistance to deformation. Above all, they are completely safe for delicate contacts in the camera body and free of backlash and leaks. They adhere precisely to the camera and do not cause unwanted light flashes. An additional lock protects against accidental twisting or unplugging from the socket.

The FD mount was used in analog Canon cameras. Like the M42 series lenses, they require manual operation. In some systems, depending on the equipment used, it is also possible to use the Aperture Priority (A/Av) mode. The adapter, on the other hand, allows you to focus to the full extent, also indefinitely.

Use

Older generation lenses are very often characterized by almost inimitable optics and plasticity of the image. Even in the era of widespread digitization of equipment, many professionals still use lenses created during the triumph of 35 mm film cameras. This type of equipment also includes Canon lenses with an FD bayonet, used until 1987. From now on, Sony E-mount users can also use their capabilities. A precisely and solidly made adapter will ensure not only safe, but also comfortable work. See for yourself what Canon had to offer before the era of digital "EOS"!
