Freewell GLOW MIST 1/4 Magnetic/Screw-in Diffusion Filter 77mm

Freewell GLOW MIST is a precision-made, magnetic diffusion filter with 1/4 softening. Magnetic mounting significantly reduces the working time and improves its comfort and safety. The set includes a lens mounting adapter and a durable, magnetic cap. The filter itself also has additional, internal threading, thanks to which it can also be combined and used with traditional, screw-in filters. The filter diameter is 77 mm.

Diffusion filters allow for attractive and subtle blurring of the image, giving it a more organic expression, characteristic of film. The digital image becomes more natural and accessible in reception. Diffusion slightly lowers the contrast of the scene and creates soft glows around light sources. By using MIST filters, the dynamic range of the image becomes larger, and the transitions between dark and light parts are smoother.

Magnetic Freewell filters are created using high-resolution multi-coated optical glass . They do not affect the color of the shot, do not create aberrations or color shifts. High-quality lenses are covered with numerous anti-reflective and protective layers. They provide the highest quality image and at the same time are resistant to water or oil stains as well as accidental scratches and chips. The lenses are embedded in extremely thin electroplated blackened aluminum frames. The slim design allows them to be used even with wide-angle lenses and full-frame cameras.
