Freewell Two Gray Filters VND 2-5 ND4-ND32 + VND 6-9 ND64-ND512 Hard Stop 62mm

Freewell ALL DAY is a pack of two adjustable 62 mm fader filters, designed for outdoor use in varying light conditions. The adjustment range from ND4x (ND0.6) to ND32x (ND1.5) and from ND64x (ND1.8) to ND512x (ND2.7) will allow you to work in almost any conditions and at any time - even in the middle of the day with very strong sunshine.

VND filters by Freewell have functional dimming range locks ( Hard Stop points), thanks to which they effectively prevent the phenomenon of cross-polarization, visible in the form of the characteristic "X" effect. They ensure uniform darkening of the entire area in the frame, and can also successfully work with wide-angle lenses with a focal length of more than 16 mm and full-frame cameras without the risk of vignette.

The filters are made of multi-layered, hardened optical glass with a very high light transmission coefficient. Filters don't affect the original color or contrast of the shot. They are equipped with numerous anti-reflective coatings, eliminating light flashes, and protective coatings, thanks to which scratches or chips do not appear on the lenses. The protective layers also have a hydrophobic function, preventing the formation of water and oil stains, and all small impurities are very easy to remove. The excellent quality lenses are embedded in lightweight, aluminum frames, with additional grooves for easy installation of filters and changing the ND value. VND series filters are threaded on one side - the set includes two durable, magnetic caps.

Use

When planning a long outdoor session, it is worth taking into account that we may be surprised not only by a sudden deterioration in the weather, but also by its significant improvement. Too much light reaching the camera sensor can be just as problematic as too little light. However, while in the latter case we can help ourselves to change the ISO value to a higher one, if you need to work in full sunlight, it is worth reaching for additional accessories. The Freewell brand, which enjoys very high marks among its users, has prepared a universal set of two adjustable gray filters for them. With 2-5 stops and 6-9 stops filters at our disposal, we are able to easily correct the exposure of the shot, without giving up a wide open aperture or a long exposure time. The filters are equipped with functional hard stop points and magnetic cap mounts, which, combined with the quality of their glass lenses, makes our work not only easy and pleasant, but above all creative and satisfying!
