DNP DS820 photo printer with 20x30 cm media

The first dye-sublimation printer with a 203 mm print width, designed not only for the 20x30 cm format but also offering a wide range of formats, including square and mainly panoramic ones. Alternatively, the printer can take 210 mm wide media to print precisely in A4 or A5 format.

Perhaps the biggest technological innovation the DS820 brings to dye-sublimation printing is panoramic photo printing in 20x55 and 20x80 cm formats from standard 20x30 cm media. It may seem a small thing, but it is a huge technological innovation in dye-sublimation photo printing.

Another innovation is the Ribbon Rewind function, which means you do not have to stock many different media types while producing a wide range of photo formats, from 10x20, standard and square to panoramic 20x55 and 20x80 cm.

Also new are two photo finishes (Luster and Fine Matte); in total, four different surface types are available, which the printer creates thanks to the ribbon's lamination layer. The options of the lamination layer do not end there either - the DS820 can create a matte finish in a chosen area and a glossy finish on the rest of the photo.
