K&F Concept Nano-X B270 52mm CPL Polarizing Filter
Description
K&f Concept Nano-X Series Circular Polarizing Filter (CPL) with a diameter of 52 mm. It is covered with a special green coating that increases light transmission up to ≥ 45%. The lenses are made of hardened, repeatedly polished and ground Schott B270 glass, which is characterized by a very low refractive index, which significantly helps to reduce accidental glare and flares.
Polarizing filters allow you to capture things in your photos that are invisible to the naked eye. Their function is to block a part of the reflected light with a specific polarization, so that it does not reach the photosensitive material. The rotating design, consisting of two rings screwed on each other, allows for smooth change of polarizer settings, thanks to which it is possible to cut off only waves of a certain length. The use of CPL filters allows, for m.in, to reduce reflections on water, glass or metallic surfaces. Their action is most effective when the light falls at an angle of 90º, but it is also naturally associated with a slight darkening of the image by about 1-2 aperture stops.
The Nano-X filter series is multi-coated and their glass is additionally hardened (HD) to effectively protect them from scratches and chips. High light transmission is accompanied by resistance to water and oil – no stains remain on them, and all naturally formed impurities, such as fingerprints or dust, settle on them much more difficult and are very easy to remove.
Nano-X also offers slim filters with an extremely thin aluminum frame with a width of only 4 mm, thanks to which the risk of vignettes is minimized. The galvanically blackened frame adheres precisely to the lens, while the profiled, trapezoidal recesses make it easy to operate, mount and remove the filter. The filters are also double-threaded, which allows for the simultaneous use of additional accessories or the installation of a cover.

Use
Polarizing filters are an invaluable help in both amateur and professional landscape and product photography. They allow you to capture effects invisible to the human eye, darken the color of the sky and reduce glare and reflections on glass, metal or water. Thanks to them, it is possible to "look through the glass" into buildings or eliminate reflections, e.g. on car bodies. They are also used when photographing plants. They emphasize the contrast of the photographed scene in an attractive way and increase the color saturation. The Nano-X series from K&F Concept are filters designed for professionals – their high quality workmanship combined with numerous anti-glare and protective layers make them a useful and efficient tool in almost any situation.
