Design
Made entirely from machined aluminium, the top plate preserves the essence of a classic camera with its angular design. This striking look combines with tactile operation to create a camera that is a pleasure to use.

The top plate is carved from a single piece of metal, not only improving the look and feel of the FUJIFILM X-E5 but also improving the operation of the dials. The anodised finish also gives the body a refined, high-quality aesthetic.

New Film Simulation dial
The newly created Film Simulation dial has a precisely cut indicator window that minimises the gap between the dial and the body for a perfect finish. In addition, the FS1-FS3 positions can each be set with their own Film Simulation and image quality settings, allowing you to save your own FS recipes.

Mastery of detail
Refinement is central to every aspect of the FUJIFILM X-E5 design. For example, the viewfinder and diopter adjustment control are fully integrated into the body, while the Bluetooth button on the bottom panel is a nod to the rewind button of a classic film camera.

New Classic Display mode
The new Classic Display mode* provides a clean viewfinder image with key information at the bottom of the frame. Combined with a body style that lets you operate the dials and lever with one hand, you can become fully immersed in image making with the camera held to your eye.

Surroundings View mode
The front command lever of the FUJIFILM X-E5 accesses the Surroundings View function, which shows a semi-transparent or outlined area outside the image. This provides an OVF-like experience, letting you see beyond the EVF frame so you can easily monitor what is about to enter the frame.

Improved mobility
Although similar in size to its predecessor, the X-E5 is the first in this camera series with a powerful 5-axis IBIS mechanism, offering up to 7.0 stops at the centre and 6.0 stops at the periphery*. This makes it a lightweight "everyday" camera that remains adaptable to the most demanding scenarios.

ISO 125 standard sensitivity
The X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor of the FUJIFILM X-E5 has an improved, light-efficient pixel structure. This provides a lower native ISO 125, which on the previous model was available only as an extended option.
