Product description: ILFORD MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is a premium black and white variable-contrast paper on a bright white resin-coated base. It delivers a full tonal range and outstanding image quality across the wide range of contrast grades from 00 to 5. ILFORD introduced the world's first variable-contrast MULTIGRADE paper in 1940 and has continuously refined the range since, making it the "paper of choice" for demanding darkroom printers worldwide. As part of the world's most iconic and popular darkroom paper range, the current emulsion design continues the long tradition of MULTIGRADE quality. Providing greater response where it is needed, this paper helps reveal the finest highlight detail while holding shadows in deep, rich blacks, enhanced by the bright white base. This makes it an ideal choice for beginners printing directly from negatives, as well as for more experienced users who do not want to compromise on creative control. MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is also available in Cooltone and Warmtone versions. MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is part of the ILFORD MULTIGRADE system, and when used together with ILFORD MULTIGRADE filters, seven full grades of contrast can be achieved. It can be used with most common safelights for black and white darkroom paper, such as the ILFORD 902 safelight filter.
