ILFORD MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is a high-quality black and white variable-contrast paper on a bright white resin-coated base. It delivers a full tonal range and outstanding image quality across the wide contrast range from grades 00 to 5.

ILFORD announced the world's first variable-contrast MULTIGRADE paper in 1940 and has been developing the range ever since, so that it has become the main black and white paper of choice for knowledgeable darkroom printers around the world. As part of the world's most iconic and popular darkroom paper range, the current emulsion design continues the long tradition of MULTIGRADE quality.

Giving you greater response where it is needed, this paper helps reveal the finest highlight details while holding shadows in deep, rich blacks, accentuated by the bright white base. This makes it an ideal choice for beginners printing straight from negatives, as well as for more experienced users who do not want to compromise on creative control.

MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is also available in Cooltone and Warmtone versions. MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is part of the ILFORD MULTIGRADE system, and when used together with ILFORD MULTIGRADE filters, seven full grades of contrast can be achieved. It can be used with most common safelights for processing black and white darkroom papers, such as the ILFORD 902 safelight filter.
