Quick Release Adapters (QR)
About this category
Quick release adapters (QR) are clamps and mounts that let you attach a camera with a plate to a tripod, head or gimbal stabiliser and remove it again within seconds. This category features Arca-Swiss QR adapters from Leofoto, SmallRig, Gitzo, Ulanzi and Fotocom.
When choosing, check which plate type the adapter is designed for (Arca-Swiss, video plates or others) and the clamp size, for example 50, 60 or 70 mm. Lever-release models work faster than screw-knob clamps, while Ulanzi Claw adapters let you carry the camera on a belt or bag strap.
