Hoya PRO ND500 82 MM

The Hoya PRO ND500 82 MM is a colour-neutral grey (ND) filter that reduces the light reaching the sensor by 9 f-stops. It is designed for photographers and for HDSLR video shooters who need much longer exposures or wider apertures in bright light.

• Filter diameter: 82 mm
• Light reduction: 9 f-stops
• ACCU-ND anti-reflective coating applied to both sides of the filter for faithful colour reproduction
• No need to adjust white balance or correct colours in post-processing when switching between filter strengths
• Lets you lengthen exposure times when you cannot stop down further or lower the ISO
• Allows shallow depth of field with fast lenses on sunny days, useful for portraits and film
• Helps match exposure on film cameras where shutter speed cannot be freely adjusted
• Well suited to capturing motion, such as waterfalls and other natural scenery
• Thin aluminium Low Profile Frame helps avoid vignetting, even with super wide-angle lenses
