Description
The Hoya PRO ND4 82 MM is a colour-neutral grey (ND) filter for 82 mm lens threads that reduces the light reaching the sensor by 2 stops. It is meant for both stills photographers and HDSLR video shooters.
- Filter diameter: 82 mm
- Light reduction: 2 stops (ND4)
- ACCU-ND anti-reflective coating applied to both sides of the filter for faithful colour reproduction
- Avoids the need to correct white balance in camera or colour-correct photos and video afterwards
- Allows longer exposure times when the aperture cannot be closed further or ISO lowered
- Enables shallow depth of field with fast lenses on sunny days, useful for portraits and film
- Helps match exposure on video cameras where shutter time cannot be freely adjusted
- Thin aluminium Low Profile Frame helps avoid vignetting, even on super wide-angle lenses
