Effect Filters
About this category
Effect Filters are round screw-in filters for creative images: star filters (Star Cross, Sparkle), diffusion and Black Mist filters, as well as night and light pollution filters. Brands include Hoya, Marumi, Cokin, K&F Concept and Irix.
Star filters turn point light sources into starbursts, diffusion and mist filters soften contrast for a cinematic look, and night filters such as Hoya Starscape or Cokin Clearsky reduce the colour cast from city lighting in astrophotography. Choose the filter by your lens filter thread, from 58 to 82 mm.
