Hoya PRO ND16 62 MM

The Hoya PRO ND16 62 MM is a colour-neutral grey (neutral density) filter that cuts the light reaching the sensor by 4 f-stops. It is designed for photographers as well as HDSLR video shooters.

• Light reduction: 4 stops
• Filter diameter: 62 mm
• ACCU-ND anti-reflection coating applied to both sides of the filter to keep colours faithful
• No need to correct white balance in camera or colour in post-processing when switching between filters of different density
• Allows longer exposure times when the aperture cannot be closed further or ISO lowered
• Enables shallow depth of field with fast lenses on sunny days, useful for portraits and film
• Helps match exposure on video cameras where shutter speed cannot be freely adjusted
• Suited to capturing motion, e.g. waterfalls and other natural scenes
• Thin aluminium Low Profile Frame helps avoid vignetting, even with super wide-angle lenses
