Hoya PRO ND500 77 MM

The Hoya PRO ND500 77 mm is a colour-neutral grey (ND) filter that cuts the light reaching the sensor by 9 stops. It is suitable for photographers and for HDSLR video work that needs long exposures or wide apertures in bright light.

• Filter diameter: 77 mm
• Reduces light by 9 f-stops
• ACCU-ND anti-reflective coating on both sides keeps colours accurate
• No need to correct white balance or colours in post-processing when changing filter strength
• Allows longer exposures, for example to show motion in waterfalls and other natural scenes
• Allows shallow depth of field with fast lenses in sunlight, useful for portraits and film
• Helps you set exposure on video cameras with limited shutter speed adjustment
• Thin aluminium Low Profile Frame avoids vignetting, even with super-wide-angle lenses
