Description
The Hoya PRO ND4 55 MM is a colour-neutral grey (ND) filter that cuts the light reaching the sensor by 2 stops. It is designed for photographers as well as HDSLR video shooters.
- Filter diameter: 55 mm
- Light reduction: 2 stops (ND4)
- ACCU-ND anti-reflective coating on both sides of the filter for faithful colour reproduction
- No need to correct white balance or colours in post-processing when switching between PROND filters of different densities
- Allows longer exposure times when the aperture cannot be closed further or ISO lowered
- Enables shallow depth of field with fast lenses on sunny days, useful for portraits and film
- Helps match exposure on film cameras where shutter speed cannot be freely adjusted
- Suited to capturing motion, such as waterfalls and other natural scenery
- Thin aluminium Low Profile Frame helps avoid vignetting, even with super wide-angle lenses
