Description

The Hoya PRO ND200 49 MM is a strong colour-neutral grey (neutral density) filter that reduces the light reaching the sensor by 7 2/3 f-stops. It is aimed at photographers and HDSLR video shooters working with long exposures or wide apertures in bright light.

  • Light reduction: 7 2/3 stops
  • ACCU-ND anti-reflection coating on both sides of the filter for faithful colour rendition
  • No white balance correction or colour post-processing needed when switching between filters of different density
  • Extends exposure times when the aperture cannot be closed further or ISO lowered
  • Enables shallow depth of field with fast lenses on sunny days
  • Suited to motion effects such as smoothing waterfalls and other natural scenes
  • Thin aluminium Low Profile Frame helps avoid vignetting, even with super wide-angle lenses
