Description

The Caruba PU40 is a universal quick release plate that screws into the tripod socket beneath a camera and fits into the clamp of a tripod head. Its 1/4-inch screw has a fold-out D-ring for fastening and removal without a coin or screwdriver.

The non-slip top helps prevent the camera from rotating around the screw and protects the base of the camera body from the plate's metal rim. Using a separate plate on each of two cameras allows them to be swapped at the head without unscrewing the plates.
