Shoulder Rigs

The Shoulder Rigs category offers shoulder rig kits for video cameras along with matching accessories: follow focus units and adapters, counterweights, baseplates and monitor mounts. It includes products from SmallRig, Genesis, Aputure and Fotocom, among them kits for the Sony FX6 and the Sony VCT-14 system.

A shoulder rig spreads the camera weight across your shoulder and both hands, giving steadier handheld footage during long takes at reportage, documentary or event shoots. When choosing, consider your camera weight and mounting type, whether a counterweight is included and whether the rig can be expanded with a monitor or follow focus.
