All SIRUI TY series quick release plates are made from forged aluminium alloy. The forging technology produces high-density metals with considerably greater strength than casting methods. When using long lenses or heavy cameras, it is very important to ensure a perfect fit between the camera and the quick release plate. For this reason, SIRUI offers a choice of quick release plates for different camera types and models. TY series plates are fitted with anti-slip rubber pads that stop the camera/lens from moving while the screw is tightened. The red anti-twist stops are designed to prevent the camera from shifting or rotating when the ball head is moved.
