Caruba Macro Focusing Rail (W 160)

The Caruba W 160 macro focusing rail allows precise forward and backward camera movement for focus stacking in macro photography. By taking several photographs while moving the camera without changing the focus setting, different parts of the subject come into focus. The images can then be merged in photo editing software to produce a photograph with a larger area in focus.

The camera attaches to the 1/4-inch connection using a mounting wheel. The Arca-Swiss compatible mounting plate secures the rail to a tripod head. Two adjustment dials, positioned at the front and back, control camera movement, and a distance scale on the side indicates the travel distance.
