Leofoto Summit LM-404C carbon fiber tripod 180cm

The Leofoto LM-404CL Summit modular tripod series is designed for photography and filming with larger, heavier cameras and lenses.

The huge maximum height of the LM-404CL Long version comes from its extra-long legs, which are longer than those of regular Summit tripods. The tripod is supplied without a ball head, so its minimum height is only 10.5 cm. The LM-404CL Summit tripod weighs only 2.5 kg and is 63 cm long when folded. It has a removable tripod plate and a 75 mm video bowl, a carrying bag, spiked feet and a multi-tool.

The core of Leofoto's modular tripod system is the ability to change its use with different accessories. A 75 mm bowl adapter is included, suitable for use with both video heads and levelling platforms (optional accessory). The central platform is also included - this makes the tripod most stable.

A centre column (DC-364C) is also available as an optional accessory, adding convenience and even greater tripod height. A 75 mm short levelling column is also available as an optional accessory, which lets you start work faster on uneven ground (movement +-15 degrees) - it is used with the 75 mm bowl adapter. If you shoot macro or small objects, a horizontal centre column can be mounted on the platform, allowing you to go beyond the standard tripod dimensions.

Leofoto photo and video tripods use 10X carbon - 10-layer carbon tubes, which give the tripod higher load capacity, torsion resistance and vibration absorption, and are lighter than equivalent metal or wooden parts.

High-quality materials - Leofoto tripods use the same quality of aluminium alloy as the aviation industry, and it is additionally anodised.

High safety - high-quality materials ensure the tripod's longevity, which is why Leofoto gives its tripods a 10-year warranty. Extra thought has also gone into safer use - the central modular platform is removed by unscrewing the locking screw and then pressing the safety button, which means it cannot simply fall out and smash your expensive equipment.

Wide range of adjustment. The tripod's working range is from 10 cm at the lowest level to 202 cm fully extended. Its legs adjust to 3 angles - 25/55 and 85 degrees, which allows use on uneven ground as well as for various other tasks (macro, landscape, etc.).

Extended fully, this 4-section tripod becomes extremely tall - up to 202 cm. By extending only 3 of the 4 leg sections you get an even more stable tripod with a height of 154 cm; with a head and camera added (about 20 cm) this tripod is comfortable to use as an extremely stable everyday tripod.

Quick locking thanks to a special leg locking ring - only a 1/4 turn is needed to lock. Forget the time lost screwing the tripod legs for a long time. Leofoto tripod legs also have interchangeable feet - spiked and rubber feet are included, and a wide variety of leg tips are available as optional accessories. Leofoto has also thought about longevity: the leg locking mechanism uses one-piece sliding mechanisms (other manufacturers use two-piece ones, which are very often the weak point of tripods) - these sliding mechanisms ensure greater durability.

There is a 3/8" thread on the tripod base for attaching various accessories (lights, monitors, microphones).

A quality tripod bag is included, with 10-15 cm of spare room for the head.
