SmallRig 6778 HawkLock handheld cage kit for Sony FX5

SmallRig 6778 Hawklock handheld cage kit for the Sony FX5 camera. Each module is secured at two or more points, providing a stable mount that does not rotate. Protective pads are built into the points of contact with the camera to help prevent scratches. The ergonomic top handle provides a comfortable grip and can be installed quickly with a NATO clamp. Its closed design helps prevent accidental slips from your hands when shooting from a low angle.

A dedicated HDMI cable clamp helps protect the port and maintain a stable signal during shooting. The wrist strap has an ergonomic design that reduces strain on the wrist and improves safety during long handheld shooting. The cage also has built-in 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI locating holes, a NATO rail, an Arca-type quick release plate, a QD socket, a wrist strap slot and other features for attaching a range of professional accessories.

The bottom Arca-type quick release plate slides directly into DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 5 gimbals and Arca-type tripods, allowing you to switch quickly from handheld shooting to a gimbal or tripod. The cage has a built-in magnetic wrench for easy access and simple assembly.

Note: when using the top plate, the tested compatible cold shoe accessories are the Sony ECM-B1M, ECM-M1, ECM-B10 and the DJI Mic 2 cold shoe adapter. The tested incompatible cold shoe accessories are the Sony ECM-W3, ECM-W3S and ECM-W2BT microphones. When using the Sony XLR handle (XLRH2B) or Sony EVF (DVFEL1B), the top plate must be removed first.
