SmallRig 6776 HawkLock cage for Sony FX5

SmallRig 6776 HawkLock cage for the Sony FX5 camera. The NATO rail on top is secured with two 1/4"-20 screws and can be removed to install the original XLR top handle. The U-shaped cage is secured with 1/4"-20 screws on both sides and on the bottom to prevent rotation, and has padding to protect against scratches. The battery compartment cover has a hinged lever that adapts to the curve of the camera and improves the grip for the little finger.

A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects the ports and ensures stable signal transmission. The patented, in-house designed quick locking system (HawkLock) wraps around the NATO rail and Arca-Swiss plate and is used with HawkLock family accessories such as the handle, side handle, Arca-Swiss clamp and others, for smooth insertion and self-locking, and therefore faster disassembly and assembly; it is also compatible with accessories from the traditional cold shoe, NATO clamp and Arca-Swiss clamp families.

In addition, the cage has built-in 1/4"-20 threaded holes, an ARRI 3/8"-16 locating hole, 1/4"-20 locating holes, a QD socket and a strap slot, and it can be expanded with accessories such as a Magic Arm, top handle, rod clamp, QD shoulder strap, hand strap and shoulder strap for professional work. A magnetic wrench is also included for easy assembly and disassembly.

Note: when using the top plate, the Sony ECM-B1M, ECM-M1, ECM-B10 and the DJI Mic 2 cold shoe adapter are confirmed as compatible cold shoe accessories. The Sony ECM-W3, ECM-W3S and ECM-W2BT microphones are confirmed as incompatible cold shoe accessories. When using the Sony XLR handle (XLRH2B) or Sony EVF (DVFEL1B), the top plate must be removed first.
