It features 12 optical elements in 10 groups, including 2 high-refractive-index (HR) elements and hybrid aspherical lenses for sharp, distortion-free images with minimal chromatic aberration.

Cine-specific features include de-clicked aperture gear ring for smooth, quiet iris pulls, industry-standard geared focus and iris rings compatible with follow focus systems, and focus scales marked on both sides of the lens barrel.
