ICY BOX IB-AC618 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub, Aluminium

Sevenfold performance

When all the USB 3.0 ports are taken again, but you urgently need data from a USB stick, this hub could be the real solution. You still have to do without one USB 3.0 port on your computer, but you gain seven new ones, which are also much easier to reach at your workstation.

Not all are equal

One USB 3.0 port is a little different from the others. Number 7 is a so-called charging port, which can be used to charge mobile devices and (external) batteries at 5V and 2.4 amps. This makes charging somewhat faster, since normal USB 3.0 ports can only deliver 0.9 amps.

A tough workhorse

The IB-AC618 hub is hard to shake. The high-quality aluminium dissipates heat well and thus provides effective cooling. The material is also light and hard to scratch, making it ideal for professional use.
