PGYTech Four Polarized ND Filter Set for Mavic Air 2

A set of four hybrid ND/PL filters by PGYTech, dedicated to Mavic Air 2 drones. ND/PL filters not only allow for longer exposures, wider apertures and a shallower depth of field when shooting in bright environments, but also polarize light by reducing reflections on metallic surfaces. They will also improve the contrast and color saturation in photos or recordings, especially landscape ones. The set includes ND8x/PL (ND0.9), ND16x/PL (ND1.2), ND32/PL (ND1.5) and ND64x/PL (ND1.8) filters, which correspond to 2, 3, 4 and 5 f-stops, respectively.

The filters are easy to install and do not adversely affect the flight of the drone. They are made of the highest quality German Schott optical glass, covered with an additional, double-sided protective layer, thus increasing their resistance to water, oil and scratches, as well as making it easier to keep them clean. Schott glass is ground and polished multiple times to achieve a low refractive index, which translates into the highest quality image capture and accurate color reproduction.

Before installing the filter, you must remove the original lens frame.

Features

• Hybrid filters – gray with polarization (ND/PL)
• Exposure adjustment by 2, 3, 4 and 5 f-stops
• Premium Schott Optical Glass
• Hydrophobic coatings
• Scratch resistance
• Easy to install and use
• They do not interfere with the operation of the drone

Use

Hybrid filters combine the features of gray and polarizing filters, making them an ideal solution for photography or filming in difficult outdoor conditions. Not only do they allow you to extend the shutter speed or open the aperture wider, but they also increase the contrast between the sky and the landscape and emphasize the outline of clouds. They also enhance the color saturation and blue of the sky. As a result, the recorded images are characterized by vivid colors and are free of unwanted reflections or reflections.
