The lens has been designed to work with Super 35mm cameras operating at 4K resolution. The lens optical arrangement is based on 18 lenses arranged in 14 groups and includes three low-dispersion SD elements minimizing chromatic aberration. Furthermore, the advanced optical formula ensures constant sharpness throughout the focal range, eliminating the lens breathing effect when zooming. It features a range of enhancements to enhance filming comfort, including geared rings compatible with follow-focus systems and smooth aperture control.
