Description
The NiSi Athena Prime 14mm T2.4 is an ultra-wide-angle cine lens with a Sony E mount. Its 46mm image circle covers full-frame and large-format sensors, and its maximum aperture is T2.4.
The optical design controls chromatic aberration and micro-contrast and minimises focus breathing, keeping changes in the field of view small when focusing from the minimum distance to infinity. The Athena Prime range has similar lens weights, allowing lenses to be exchanged on a gimbal without rebalancing, with matching focus and aperture ring positions.
