The MITOYA MTY222 Photo Tripod is a versatile ball head tripod designed for cameras and video camcorders. Made of durable yet lightweight aluminium, it offers a working height of 50 to 180 cm, a monopod function and the ability to unfold the legs almost flat. With a load capacity of up to 5 kg and a quick release in the Arca Swiss standard, it is a useful tool in the hands of photography enthusiasts and professional creators.

A wide range of height adjustment is accompanied by a ratchet system - each leg can be tilted and locked in one of three positions. The feet consist of four sections and are locked independently with plastic latches . Each has a 1/4'' threaded hole at the top, which can be used to mount a magic arm, a preview monitor or an additional LED lamp. They are finished with non-slip rubber feet, and two of them also have wide, foam handles. The third leg can be rotated and connected either to the head itself or to the entire central column, thus offering a monopod with a very large adjustment scale - from 52 cm (the leg connected to the head) to as much as 186 cm (using the central column). All elements - the unscrewable foot, the central column and the head - have 3/8'' threads. The central column also has a removable hook for the counterweight suspension and can be mounted in reverse, with the head down.

The tripod head has received three knobs - two of them lock the ball bearing, and the third is responsible for locking the rotation around its own axis. The angular scale makes it easier to take panoramas, and the two spirit levels keep the vertical in the frame. The Arca Swiss quick release offers a standard 1/4'' thread and four small, non-slip washers.

Despite its size, the MTY222 is relatively light and weighs only 1.7 kg. The reverse folding system reduces its size - when folded, it is 48 cm. The included case allows for convenient and safe transport.
